Tibnin Castle — Toron

Begun in 1106 during the Crusader period, the castle became the seat of the Lordship of Toron. It was razed by the Mamluks in 1266 and rebuilt in the mid-eighteenth century. It stands on a hill overlooking the town and its plains.

The castle was granted UNESCO enhanced protection under the Hague Protocol in November 2024.
